My name is Eric Chyatte and I am currently a
junior at UF. My talents tend to gravitate towards the creative aspect of
things. I have worked several jobs many of which involved some sort of
marketing or sales role. I have also spent time in the custom apparel industry
and believe that the businessman is in desperate need of a new, more sweat
resistant product. I see this business playing a large role in my life and
potentially becoming the basis of my career.
2.
My product Dress Fit is comfortable stylish
drift dress shirt that removes the anxiety of unappealing sweat stains. This
product is made from a sweat wicking material that completely alters what most
know about dress clothes.
3.
The aimed customer base is anyone in a
professional industry that has to wear button down style shirts for work.
Whether its men or women both could use Dress Fit styles.
4.
Sweat stains are a major issue for many people
and most dress shirts tend to be relatively uncomfortable. Imagine a material
that solves both issues, while maintaining a professional look. This product
appeals to several different individuals regardless of social status or
demographic.
5.
The element that separates Dress fit from other
apparel brands is that it maintains a level of elegance while providing true
comfort. It is also a revolutionary material that no other company has access
too.
The plausibility of this product
is relatively good, however the main issue at stake is rival competitors and other
products of similar value. I believe there are dri-fit styles of dress shirts,
but none that have really altered the market. I believe that if this product was
done correctly it has the potential to change the way people look at dress
clothes. Collectively, I believe this product would have a strong customer base
and high level of demand if it was created, marketed, and scaled in the proper
fashion.

ReplyDeleteI really like your idea and definitely think it is something that could take off. Between people getting nervous or living in Florida where it's normally pretty hot this product would be something many people would be interested in. My only question would be how much would your products cost? I know athletic dry fit shirts are already expensive so I'm assuming a dress shirt of the same material would cost more. I think it's a great idea! Here's the link to mine http://entidea1.blogspot.com/
