Free Money

My plan of attach was to simply look for people walking near my house on there way to the library.

For the most part people were extremely surprised that I was trying to give them money for no reason. I was surprised more people did not accept the money, but assumably if it was more than a dollar most people would have accepted it.

I don’t really understand the value of the exercise as it relates to entrepreneurship, but it was an interesting social experiment.

  1. I like how straight forward you were and straight up asked if they wanted a dollar haha. But personally, I would be really hesitant as well. I think people need a guanine reason for receiving a dollar from a stranger and not just getting it for no reason. I also agree with you on not really understanding how this relates to entrepreneurship but it was still pretty fun doing it. 2. I enjoyed watching your videos. I would probably be a little weirded out if someone came up to me and randomly handed me a dollar. I feel like people may be more inclined to take it if you gave some sort of reasoning behind it, although for the purpose of this assignment I'm not sure if there even was a reason.

  3. Hi Eric. It seems like you were very upbeat and friendly in the videos you posted. This wasn't an easy assignment but it looks like you did what you needed to.

  4. I liked your videos as you came off as trying to do something nice. I also thought it was interesting how one person just said "no thanks". I guess he felt like taking the dollar was going to lead to a longer conversation about something, and wanted to avoid that.
