Week 4 Reading Reflection

1.     It was extremely interesting to learn about the different functions of the right and left hemispheres of the brain. I knew there was a difference between what qualities each side possesses, but I did not know that one side helps you understand things while the other side helps you analyze and verbalize those things.
2.     I found the muddling mind-sets to be somewhat confusing. In my perspective the way you process things make you who you are. It does not hinder you from creative thinking.
3.     My first question would be: What are some common ways individuals try to activate their creative thoughts. My second question would be: Where do see innovation makes its biggest impact in the next 10 years.

4.     I slightly disagree with the muddling-mind sets. The reason being that everyone is somewhat bias in their own way, but I believe that is part of the reason you think the way you do.

Week 3 Reading Reflection

1.     Through reading Chapter 2 something that stood out the most to me is the physic risk when following an entrepreneurial venture. I never considered the physiological fatigue that takes place when devoting everything you have to a project and the project fails. Obviously money comes and goes, but physiological stability is hard to achieve.
2.     Something that is confusing is what constitutes as entrepreneurial ethics and normal business ethics.
3.     If I could ask two questions the first would be: What specific situations have you seen instances of entrepreneurial rationalization? The second question would be: How do entrepreneurs who achieve great success and fame attempt to deal with the stress and workload?

4.     There was nothing that I particularly disagreed with throughout chapter 2.

Isaac characterizes an entrepreneur because of his devotion to following his intuition and his unfaltering belief in his abilities.

Answer: “Being and entrepreneur means devoting your time and energy to transform an idea into a reality”

Interviewing Isaac was a very eye opening experience and taught me a lot about the mentality it takes to become a successful entrepreneur. What’s most important is not how many times you fail, but how you overcome those failures.
